5 TIPS TO STAY FIT ALL YEAR

NUMBER 1

STAY CLEAR OF PRESERVATIVES!!

-check the ingredients in everything that you buy and stay away from anything that says (preservative) or (used to preserve freshness

NUMBER 3

DRINK A GALLON OF WATER A DAY!

-I'm sure we've all heard 8 cups is the magic number, but actually 16 cups a day promotes overall health benefits (clear skin, cleansed gut=happy mood, overall hydration!!)

-I also love pressed juices and juicing vegetables without any fruit added (less sugar=better)

-Try not to drink your calories unless you have to then make sure to balance your diet accordingly :)

NUMBER 5

SWAP BREAD/HEAVY CARBS FOR MORE COMPLEX, HEALTHY CARBS

-dropping bread/FRIED FOOD is going to be the most difficult lifestyle change to make but it is what makes the biggest difference for your waistline!

-I recommend switching to healthy tortillas made without any wheat

-There are lots of bread substitutions on Pinterest and I will be posting my favorite recipes!

-Lettuce wraps are also a fun one to try out and saves almost 300 calories

-Sweet potatoes are great for those complex carbs and I recommend trying the purple sweet potatoes (Okinawa) and the Japanese red sweet potatoes! AMAZING.

NUMBER 2

CUT OUT ALL SUGARS STICK TO THOSE VEGGIES

-Yes, that's right. Even the rice syrup and coconut sugar in healthy foods is still going to make maintaining your figure more difficult.

-I stick to eating fresh fruit only for my daily sugar intake and eat only a small amount of fruit daily, sometimes I SKIP eating FRUIT to save the carb load also.

NUMBER 4

DROP THE BUTTER AND MEASURE THAT OIL

-this is where most of us go wrong in the health world. MEASURING.

-I know we love our olive oil and coconut oil but it's easy to overdo the serving size when cooking homemade dishes

-I like to stick to organic olive oil spray to make sure I only use the bare minimum but that's just me!

-Butter=bad as we all know so try using olive oil, safflower oil or coconut oil for your at home dishes

-WHEN GOING OUT ask for no butter at restaurants and they will accomodate
